The new Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX is an ultra-wide angle lens with a fast f/2.8 aperture for better photography in low-light situations. Many photojournalists consider having an f/2.8 aperture a must for any lens in their camera bag.
Considered a rectilinear wide-angle, it has straight lines and does not have the look of a fisheye lens.
Compatibility note, this EF-S mount lens is designed to fit crop sensor (APS-C) cameras only, such as the Rebel, 30D, 40D, 60D, 7D, etc. It will vignette on full frame or APS-H cameras like the 5D or 1-Series.
